The Alberta Sport Development Centres (ASDC) are offering mini summits on Canadian Sport for Life beginning May 30, 2013. On that date, two half-day summits will take place at Mount Royal University (and will also be available online via your local ASDC).

1. Development of your PSO LTAD Implementation Plan - 9:00AM to 12:00PM.
2. Competition Review - 1:00PM to 4:00PM

To participate in one or both of these mini summits, contact ASDC - Calgary Region and RSVP for in-person attendance.

Calgary native and Olympic basketball star Andrea Blackwell was inducted into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame on May 15. Blackwell was on the Canadian Olympic team in 1984 and 1996.

Registration for All Sport One Day is now open at AllSportOneDay.ca! All Sport One Day is a free day of sport discovery for children ages 6 to 12, and it's taking place on Saturday June 15, 2013 in eleven facilities throughout Calgary.

The 2013 Canadian Squash Championships wrapped up recently, with several Albertan players finishing in the top ten on the Men's side. Among them was University of Calgary's squash star Andrew Schnell, who came in third, and is ranked among the best squash payers in the country.
