Call for Artists When Sport Meets Art Exhibition
We are calling for
artists to submit paintings of sport
(maximum of five pieces per artist) to our selection committee. The theme of
the exhibit is ‘Active for Life’. Paintings must adhere to one of the
categories of submission and be at least
24” x 18” plus frame. Art will be
displayed on an easel at the 7th Annual Mayor’s Sport Breakfast for
over 350 guests, specifically Corporate Calgary and High Performance Athletes.
Categories for Submission:
1. Children involved in physical activity/sport
Please ensure that submissions are sent by August 21, 2011 to admin@SportCalgary.ca Send us an electronic image of your artwork via email. Please advise all artists that they will be exhibiting their work on a voluntary basis, however it is an excellent opportunity to exhibit work in front of a sport enthusiastic public and potential buyers.
