Business and Sport Excellence Award
Calgary Sport Council is pleased to invite nominations for the Business and Sport Excellence Award.
This award recognizes and celebrates a corporation that provides outstanding, innovative, consistent support to sport in Calgary. Our intent is to recognize a corporation that pro-actively supports sport by providing funding and/or other support to sport in Calgary. Past Winners include ARC Resources, EnCana Corporation, Cardel Homes, and Tim Horton's.
The support offered by the corporation should not be measured by dollar value but measured in terms of the impact that it has on the sport community in Calgary:
- been something which is positive and unique?
- made something happen that has never happened before?
- allowed the sport organization to make a major change, advance, develop, diversify or grow?
- had a measurable impact on the sport group?
- shown that the corporation understands the needs of the sport group and develops initiatives to meet those needs?
- opened doors to more corporate partners (or inspired other companies to get involved)?
